Due to the fact that almost all the Greek salad ingredients (except cheese) are foods of plant origin, the value, as dietary meals that is extremely high. That's why salad will satisfy even the most fastidious vegetarian. Is prepared easily and quickly, in one breath.
3 clean and fresh ripe tomato with a dense core cut into large cubes.
Perform the same for 1 cucumber. Better cut into small cubes or thin slices. If the peel of the cucumber is thick, before cutting it's better to cut off.
Chopped tomatoes and cucumber put in bowl.
Sweet Bulgarian pepper (preferably green), remove seeds and cut into large cubes or small strips.
Onion salad sweet red or purple onions cleaned from the peel and cut into half rings.
Put chopped ingredients in a salad bowl to the tomatoes and cucumber.
Pitted olives in the amount of 25-30 pieces cut into halves and add to salad bowl.
Next sprinkle the salad 2/3 tablespoon dried oregano, season with 3 tablespoons of olive oil, lightly sprinkle with salt and gently stir.
100 g sheep's feta cheese cut into small cubes and put in salad bowl.
On top of the cheese sprinkle the salad with 1/3 tablespoon of dried oregano and served to the table.
Leaving unchanged the basic ingredients (tomato, onion, cheese, oregano and olive oil), you can improvise by adding new or replacing already existing components.
Feta cheese can replace feta cheese, mozzarella or salty cheese, cucumber – pickled, olive oil add lemon juice or vinegar, the list of ingredients to replenish garlic and Basil.
