In their opinion, the person more difficult to get rid of extra pounds in the winter. To confirm the hypothesis, the experts conducted a study in which they found that a slowing of weight loss in winter due to changes in the biochemistry of the human brain. According to scientists, with the mid-autumn people begin to consume approximately 85-90 kcal more. This happens due to the fact that in the cold season, the human body reduces the production of the hormone serotonin, responsible not only for a good mood, but also the regulation of supply. Subconsciously, the human body tries to compensate for the hormone levels by increasing the volume of products, especially carbohydrates.
