The international space station (ISS) will be the site of trials of Russian innovative microrobot-Gecko. The company "Russian space systems" reported, this robot will be the basis for the development of Autonomous microrobotics systems intended for research of hard to reach places on the surface and inside the spacecraft. Platform "Gecko" has a weight about 70 mg, but it does no harm to keep the load 20 times its own weight and move things 5 times heavier than itself. The speed of the microrobot is 14 mm per minute. the movement is ensured by deformation of the legs. When heated, they unbend, bend during cooling. It is emphasized that "Gecko" can walk on rough and sloping surfaces, and to overcome steps.
